How Newgrounds Looses A Lot of Animators

I'm leaving NG for a while. Not because I am mad at Newgrounds, but because I am going off to University in a few weeks and will not have the time to make cartoons. I love newgrounds, so if next year I am up for animating I will prolly try to get a cartoon or two released.

Since I am really sick of animating at the moment though, the Collab that I kinda joined (Didnt officially join but my friend put me down for a part) I will be quitting.

Good luck with college. I think animators lose themselves. You can still be an animator and only occasionally make shit. I think that people come to the misconception that you have to be 24 hrs a day slaving over your next big series.. and you dont.. have fun with it. Go out and fuck fat chicks and do things outside if your lifestyle demans it. You can just pop in occasionally to see whats going on or maybe stay on the radar through small cameos.

I dont animate a whole lot anymore but its still cool to keep a pulse on the scene even tho im not like hardcore in the trenches like Edible Castle people. SERIOUSLY GUYS... SLOW DOWN.

lol I know what you mean, but Im pretty sure from my timetable for University, I will only be on NG on weekends.

I'm going into engineering, so tons of math and physics ^^

I might even get some new ideas from being away from flash for a while

I'm studying in a techical university too. There's lots of free time left to animate, but it all goes in drinking alcohol and running around in pink overalls.
